    Meet our little Dorper flock

    Everyone has to earn their keep on the farm and these sheep don’t get a free ride! They are responsible for keeping our lovely cottonwood-shaded lawns trimmed neatly, and we think they love working at the farm.

  • Look Lively, mates!

    History resurrected at Port Barker

    The Lively was a schooner purchased in 1821 to bring provisions, tools and passengers to Texas by colonist Stephen F. Austin. It set sail from New Orleans, headed for the mouth of the Colorado River.
